Roy
was first elected to City of Ryde council in 2008, leading the way with honest,
open and transparent governance. Roy represents all ratepayers, residents,
businesses, families and workers, always approachable and contactable to
address, resolve or clarify issues. Their enquiries, needs and concerns are a
priority, taking ownership as their elected councillor for over 14 years, he
strives to resolve the possible.

Born
and raised in Ryde, Roy has been a valued member of many local school
communities, sporting clubs and associations, his involvement includes
administrational roles, player, coach and match official. Roy is always the
first to volunteer for the many local events and organisations that need
assistance.

Striving
to make where we live better, Roy is a passionate advocate of sport and
recreational venues, outdoor spaces and facilities ensuring council provides
vision and funding for upgrades and future projects.
As
a sole trader, Roy’s experience in economic and financial sustainability holds council
accountable in minimising waste and overspending of valuable ratepayer funds.
